1.- ORGANIZING COMPANY OF THE PROMOTION
The company SELPET Polímeros SL, with address at Calle Almagro, 36, 4th left, 28010 Madrid (Spain) and identification number B-04977070, organizes the contest for promotional purposes through its website www.adapetation.com and LinkedIn profile called PET Heroes (hereinafter, “the contest”), to be developed through the Internet, exclusively for users of legal age in accordance with the provisions of the conditions for participation section.
2.- START DATE AND END DATE
The Promotion will start on May 1, 2023 and will end on February 28, 2024.
3.- REQUIREMENTS FOR PARTICIPATION AND MECHANICS OF THE PROMOTION
The prerequisites for participation will be the following:
– Individuals who are over 18 years of age.
– People who have generated or generate regenerative solutions for the control of plastic waste.
The mechanics of the contest is as follows. There will be a single prize to be awarded to the winner among all the nominees, which will be decided by the adaPETation team.
Each candidate will be evaluated according to the following scores:
• 50% of the score as assessed by AdaPETation:
• based on a predefined “regenerative contribution framework”
• based on how the prize money will be spent towards a regenerative project
• 25% of the score based on the candidate’s knowledge of social networks
generated from your nomination. The number of likes and comments will be used to assess commitment.
Note: PET heroes who have already been nominated should be contacted to inform them of this criteria and give them a chance to boost their own campaign (by reposting, sharing mail, etc.). We would need to add to our LinkedIn content schedule forwards of these nominations for that purpose.
4.- CONDITIONS OF THE COMPETITION, DISSEMINATION AND PRIZE
One winner and two alternates will be chosen in case the winner cannot be contacted or fails to comply with any term of the rules. The selection of winners and alternates will be decided by the adaPETation team on February 23, 2023, and will be communicated via LinkedIn on February 28, 2023.
The participants authorize SELPET Polímeros SL so that, without any type of compensation, payment and/or compensation, it may publish the name of the winner of the draw on the platform where the promotion is carried out.
The winner will have a period of 2 calendar days, from notification of their status as winner, to contact or respond to SELPET Polímeros SL. expressing their acceptance of the prize obtained, at which time they will be informed of the procedure to formalize the delivery of the prize. Once the acceptance period has elapsed without the winner having communicated with SELPET Polímeros SL., it will be understood that he or she has renounced the prize without there being any compensation for said waiver.
If the winner or, as the case may be, the substitutes cannot be located/contacted, the draw will be held by desert on March 1, 2024.
The prize will be personal and non-transferable, consisting of a prize of €10,000 with the condition that the entire amount of the prize will be used to finance a regenerative project.
5.- LIMITATIONS
If it becomes evident that any of the nominees does not meet the requirements of the Bases, or the data provided to participate is not valid, their participation will be considered null and they will be automatically excluded from the contest, losing all rights to the prize awarded under this contest.
This promotion intends that the participation of the different users be done with equal opportunities and with strict respect for the rules of good faith. For this reason, SELPET Polímeros SL. reserves the right to automatically and immediately exclude from it any participant who transgresses the rules of good faith, observes mendacious or inappropriate conduct, uses fraudulent means or fails to comply with these rules in any of its extremes. In the event that the irregularities are detected after the actual delivery of any of the prizes, SELPET Polímeros S.L. reserves the right to exercise the pertinent legal actions against its author or person in charge, among others, those aimed at the return of the prizes.
The following people may not participate in the Promotion: (i) Employed workers employed in any of the companies and other entities with legal personality linked to SELPET Polímeros S.L. SELPET Polímeros S.L. does not assume responsibility in cases of force majeure or fortuitous event that could prevent the completion of the contest or the total or partial enjoyment of the prize.
